As Jesus came to the city and observed it, he wept over it. He said, “If only you knew on this of all days the things that lead to peace. But now they are hidden from your eyes. The time will come when your enemies will build fortifications around you, encircle you, and attack you from all sides. They will crush you completely, you and the people within you. When have we missed God visiting us?
When we look for God the way we want Them to come and expect everything to happen the way we hope it will, we miss God in our midst.
What are we missing because we want God to fit in our box and do what we want, rather than opening our eyes and seeing God for what They are doing.
Do not get lost in your vision. Allow God to give you Theirs.
