Trust in the LORD forever, for in the LORD GOD you have an everlasting rock. For he has brought low the inhabitants of the height; the lofty city he lays low. He lays it low to the ground, casts it to the dust. The foot tramples it, the feet of the poor, the steps of the needy. The way of the righteous is level; O Just One, you make smooth the path of the righteous. In the path of your judgments, O LORD, we wait for you; your name and your renown are the soul’s desire. Have you ever dealt with a counter or a desk that wasn’t level?
It is horrible! nothing stays in the place you set it, because it all seeks the place of no motion…
And our lives can be out of synch, or rough.
But the way of righteousness is level. And if we can trust in God and follow where He is leading us and do what He has commanded, our lives will be level.
And while this does not mea we will not have problems or issues or complete smooth sailing, we know that God will be with us to help us maintain balance in the waves of life!
