‘O that my words were written down! O that they were inscribed in a book! O that with an iron pen and with lead they were engraved on a rock for ever! For I know that my Redeemer lives, and that at the last he will stand upon the earth; and after my skin has been thus destroyed, then in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see on my side, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. My heart faints within me! (Job 19:23-27a, NRSV)
I wish that all of my words were written down and I was there with Jesus after my skin had been destroyed, and then I could in my flesh see God!
Job tells us of the resurrection of the body. That we will as we are stand before God because of what Jesus has done for us!
We will be able to stand before God because Jesus is on our side and He has done great things for us!
Praise be to God that He lives, and because He lives we too shall live!
