I have been in Mesquite, TX today at Center Point Church attending the first ever Accordance Users Conference.
This has been a wonderful day of meeting other Accordance users, and interacting with each other while learning more resources and ways to do things.
For those of you who may not know what Accordance is (a topic discussed today) it is a Bible software specifically for the Mac operating system. You can get some more information here: www.accordancebible.com. We are going to get a preview tomorrow of the iOS version for the iPhone and the iPad.
It is a very robust system and will allow you to do a lot of cool searches and studies that would take forever and a day with paper bibles and commentaries…
It also has a module for maps, timeline and pictures, which has animated portions. For instance you can see the travels of Abraham and have them animated over time, and do all of this while reading the story, and looking at pictures from the area Abraham would have been, or the things he would have seen.
If you are a mac owner and are running any Bible software that is not Accordance, I would recommend you seriously consider switching to Accordance. It is
