  1. Dr. Pahl paints with a pretty broad brush. I hope he’s not(but believe he may be)inferring that all who disagree are the frightened, power-hungry, racist, homophobic troglodytes he imagines at the helm of CORE and other dissenting movements. Is there room in this diatribe for the honest respect of bound conscience?

  2. Great question! I posted this to generate conversation which I think will keep us united in our differences. I do not believe there is a black and white, or simple sides on the issue…

    1. I respect the bound consciences of those with whom I disagree, and will be glad to engage them in debate. Even more–I will be glad to join them at the table in communion! But I disagree with them, and it would violate my own conscience not to be clear about why!
